Becky McCrary is passionate about her work and about the credit union movement, according to supervisor Patti Seymore, VP of administration for SC Telco Federal Credit Union in Greenville, SC. "She has opened all our eyes to the many opportunities that exist for finding new select employee groups [SEGs]."

McCrary was hired in 1999 as business development manager to focus on SEG recruitment at SC Telco Federal's four branches. She concentrated on developing capable people to do SEG recruitment and to better cultivate relationships with existing SEGs.

In the two years since, the credit union has added 85 SEGs while maintaining a 55% penetration level among both new and old employee groups.
