Sean R. McDonald
Sean McDonald is the director of business development & marketing for Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union in Jersey City, NJ. In 2008, he was the recipient of the Business Development Professional of the Year award from CUNA's Marketing & Business Development Council.
In addition to his credit union duties, Sean is an energetic speaker and trainer specializing in personal and professional development topics including effective networking skills, the importance of goal setting, business relationship-building, sales skills, delivering outstanding customer service, and maximizing profitability. Sean has also developed workshops and seminars on financial literacy subjects including basic budgeting, home buying and establishing and maintaining excellent credit.
Sean has written extensively on many professional and personal growth topics and his work has been published in a variety of newspapers, trade magazines, and industry publications. His first book, Stop Complaining! Start Growing! Lessons on Growing Your Business & Career, focuses on professional and personal growth tactics and is available on Amazon.
Sean is an Adjunct Professor of professional development courses at both New Jersey City University and Hudson County Community College. He is a member of the National Speaker's Association and the American Society for Training & Development. He is a board member of the Credit Union National Association's Business Development Council Executive Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County, Inc.
Tom Senatori
Tom is now the president and owner of his own firm, Tom Senatori Designs. Over the last 30 years, Tom developed a wealth of experience as owner, chief operations officer, and creative director for W&B Advertising in Madison, Wisconsin. W&B Advertising agency is a full service shop providing a variety of marketing services to businesses throughout the country. Clients include financial service providers including banks and credit unions (CUNA and CUNA Mutual), packaged goods, insurance companies, and consumer products. In addition to his creative work, he presents credit union marketing/newsletter/design workshops at conferences and league events throughout the country.
Lesley Carrell
Lesley is the senior vice president of marketing for Fibre Federal Credit Union in Longview, Washington. She is responsible for developing and managing strategic marketing, business development and community involvement plans. She is also a member of the asset/liability committee and has 20 years credit union marketing experience. Lesley is an executive committee member and charter member of the CMBDC. She won the CMBDC Marketing Professional of the Year award in 2002, 19 Diamond Awards, and the 2005 Best Practice Award in business development, and many other outstanding awards.
