Join Us at Our 2nd Annual Silent Auction
Silent Auction to Benefit Hurricane Relief, Mardi Gras Style!
In True Credit Union Spirit… our 2nd Annual Silent Auction will benefit the National Credit Union Foundation’s Hurricane Relief Fund. Funds raised will be used for relief efforts along the Gulf Coast and Florida.
Join us on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 to celebrate Mardi Gras while we pay tribute to our original conference destination, New Orleans.
You can help in two ways:
- Each attendee is asked to bring one item valued at $50 or more for the silent auction. The item can represent your credit union, city or state. For example if your credit union is located in Wisconsin, you could donate a cheese basket. A credit union from Minnesota could bring an autographed Minnesota Vikings Football helmet. A credit union that serves the air transportation industry could bring a lithographed print of a jetliner. Remember, our goal is to raise money for hurricane relief, so donate a gift that will bring the highest price! The more creative and unique your gift, the higher the bidding will go.
- Bring your checkbook or credit card to bid on the wonderful items that will be available! A credit card terminal will be available to accept Visa and MasterCard payments.

Items that are too big or cumbersome to travel with can be shipped directly to the:

All shipped items must be received at the hotel no later than March 14, 2006.
Please make sure to get your item logged into the auction in the conference welcome area no later than Thursday morning. A special desk will be set up to receive and log each item.
All items will be on display in the main welcome area of the conference throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday for bidding. Items will be awarded to the highest bidder during our Mardi Gras event Thursday evening. Bidding will close on each group of items 10 minutes prior to that group’s announcement. Stay to the end for a special treat – a Live Auction of some of the top items of the evening.
