CMBD Council Membership Exceeds 900 Members

2007 has been an excellent year for CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council membership. “We started the year with 770 members and have added 142 new members since then. That's an 18% increase,” said Susan Miller, Business Development Officer of Delta Community Credit Union, Peachtree City, Georgia and Chair of the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Membership Committee. “It's a great accomplishment for any organization. We are on a roll with membership and I anticipate that we will exceed 1000 members in 2008.”

Now is the perfect time for Council members to encourage their colleagues to join the Council. If they join now they will be a member not only for all of 2008, but also for the remainder of 2007, all for the cost of their 2008 dues. That is up to 15 months for the price of 12. Plus, they will get the $250 member discount at the 2008 Annual Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center, Nashville, Tennessee, March 16 – 19, 2008.

Miller suggests that “CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council members should take this opportunity to enroll one or more of their colleagues in the Council and get the $250 member discount for the 2008 conference at Opryland.”
