Marketing & BD Council Announces 2010 Executive Committee

The CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council announced its executive committee and officers during the council's 17 th annual conference, which took place March 21-24 in Washington, DC. This is a result of the most recent annual election by the council membership in the months preceding the conference.

Anne Legg, vice president of marketing for Cabrillo CU in San Diego will remain the council chair. Sean McDonald, director of business development & marketing for Liberty Savings FCU in Jersey City, N.J. was named vice-chair recently after Rich Jones, former vice president of marketing for Elevations CU in Boulder, Colo., left his credit union. Michelle Hunter, senior vice president of marketing and development for the Credit Union of Southern California in Whittier, Calif. is the secretary/treasurer.

Two new members elected to the executive committee are:

  • Yvonne Garand, vice president of marketing and business development for Vermont State ECU in Montpelier, Vt.
  • Nancy Hutchinson, senior vice president of marketing and business development for Minnesota Power ECU in Duluth, Minn.

The new members replace outgoing executive committee members who have served their full terms: Susan Miller, business development representative for Delta Community CU in Atlanta, Ga. and Rene' McKee, vice president of marketing for California Coast CU in San Diego, Calif.

The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council executive committee also includes:

  • Lesley Carrell, vice president of marketing for Fibre FCU in Longview, Wash.
  • Amy Davis, vice president of marketing for Red Canoe CU in Longview, Wash.
  • Kathryn Davis, senior vice president of marketing and human resources for Xceed Financial CU in El Segundo, Calif.
  • Tyler Disburg, chief administrative officer for Montana First CU in Missoula, Mont.
  • Tim Draper, vice president of marketing for Navigant CU in Smithfield, R.I.
  • Carol Payne, vice president of communications and marketing for the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues
